Class A Barth Regency
• 1982: Mid 82 to Early 1985 Regency with the MCC Chassis. The aluminum styling of the earlier era Barths reemerge but on steroids. Round headlights have been replaced with 4 square headlights designed for Cadillac. The top of the front windshields is farther forward. These Barths were much larger in all areas from their gasoline powered coaches. Because of the MCC Chassis, size was still limited to 35'.
• The Regency Model has a roof radius of about 12" round compared to the 6" round of the other models.
• 1985: Early 85 brings in the Gillig Chassis to replace their MCC Chassis - These airbrake chassis could now be offered in lengths up to 40' with a choice of different engines.
• 1987: April 1987 Barth produced a composite brow for around the front windshield.
• 1989: Barth is now offering a choice between Gillig & Spartan Chassis.
• 1989: Regency offers a Widebody option increasing the width from 96" to 102"
• 1994: Dec.94 Final Days For Barth Inc & Mike Umbaugh
