Does yours have a gentle radius at the roof edge like a Regency, or is is a smaller radius like a Regal or Breakaway?

What does the build plate call it" 35T, for example.

Bill,

I think you're on to something. It does have the gentle radius like the REgency. THere is a picture of it from the previous owner in the picture section. It is the one with the tire covers on it. The dog-leg seam above the upper right of the windshield exactly matches the same year Regency.

Also, the data tag calls it a 35TFGB.

Is that then a Royale?

Without seeing the picture, I can't judge the roof edge radius, but the 35T means it is a 35 ft tag, and the FG lines up with Royale sales sheet, and the B suffix on the same sheet is a floor plan with a rear sideways corner double bed or twin beds and the bathroom just forward of the bedroom, (sensibly located on the driver side). Fridge next to cooktop on pass side.

With a wide radius, it looks like it's a genuine Royale.

PM me with yor e mail addy, and I will send the Royale sales sheet I copied. Interestingly enough, It looks just like a longer version of our 30T, but with a more rounded roof edge and smaller bins. Our floor plan and cabinets are even like yours, but with extra length between the living room and the bedroom. Are your cabinets cherry, too?

Have you weighed yours?

Bill NY

Bill H and I have been talking abou this. Thanks to Bill H, this helped me verify that my coach is indeed a Royale and not a Regal. You and I visited a while back and this is the first time I've seen a brochure that shows the Royale.

Thanks again!

My Regal has no upper side clearance lights. Does that mean it really is a Breakaway? Note the Barth ID below: "34RDS".

Ahhhhhhhh, what REALLY makes the difference with owning a Barth...not only an aluminum exterior but that ALUMINUM INTERIOR FRAMING. It's what sold me on the Barth Coach.......

Bill, Thanks for posting these. was trying to post but my teenager playing online was taking a toll on my connection.
These are from my 1986 sale brochures. It is missing 1 page on the Regency. I will see if I can get it rescaned and posted. Don't have scanner right now.

Yup. I had decades of frustration with "stick and staple" leaks and rot. Looked at only all-metal coaches only, and Barth was the finalist. Used my airline employee's almost-free travel to fly all over and ended up buying one in same state.

Got to love this brochure! I have the 86 Regal with tag axle, which apparently makes it an "SE" model. The paint job is the beige/brown version.

Interesting, the brochure calls for tag axles on the 32 and 34 ft Regal SE. Mine is a 33 ft! Go figure, another Barth anomaly.

We recently saw a 30 foot 1995 Barth Regal (yes you read right-- REGAL (as printed on the side of the coach)) 6.5 GM on Spartan chassis. As noted earlier the spacing of rivets on some were much wider-- this had almost double what we see on our Breakaway.

Was it a pusher or a puller?

The surprising part about the "Regal" (for me) was the fact that it was a pusher-- rear radiator as well. The owner said the rear radiator didn't provide as good of cooling as he'd needed so they had added a supplementary fan (which also had had problems). Was going to go back and get a few pictures but they moved out earlier than we had thought they were planning.
