I hope that everyone understands that this is a way to sell something - this is only a potential avenue for you to consider. I will never make a blanket statement that this is right for anyone to do. Here's a PM I received from a member.

The first time I did this I didn't tell anyone until after the sale. The second time I tried it I told a few people from here what I was doing and we watched. This time I decided to let all of you in on this right when I placed the ad so you could follow it to the end.

Each time I did all right. I got more than I thought for each one of my service trucks. 2 service trucks - 2 good experiences. I think I would do this again.

My wife's Suburban sold for a respectable amount but the guy couldn't ship it and had to back out of it. Because of the way I had it listed I felt I couldn't put it back on eBay.

The ad stated something to the affect... The highest bidder will get it - there will not be a second chance offered to the second highest bidder - because of that, you will not see this listed again. I kind of boxed myself into a corner on that one. Oh well, live and learn... Linda then decided it was meant to stay with us so she kept it. We still use it daily.
