I recall Peter Egan was very taken with that model. If I ever buy a belt drive, that will be the one.

(great fun; but hard on the wrists).

Higher speeds would make that less of a problem.

I have a long torso and long arms, and am used to flat bars or clip-ons, so the bike fits me great.

I won't be back in Florida until mid Sept, but I would also like to meet up if there is a gathering prior to Hillsborough and we're back.

Yes. Peter Egan had one just like mine. In fact, I copied his gearing change by increasing the rear teeth, which worked great. Wonderful bike. Higher speeds on the 951 certainly helped, but for me, it was still too uncomfortable for the kind of riding I did. Still...I was tempted.
As for meeting up with you Spring Hill folks when you get back, that would be good. We're not far away, and in fact my Mom lives in Spring Hill.

No. Don't recognize that name. But...it's been a very long time since I've lived there, and I don't get up there often.
I'm heading out to Miss. bright and early tomorrow morning to pick up the Breakaway. Did you see my email, by the way? Would love to have a chat before I inspect it, if that's possible. Asking a bit much, I know. Sorry. But I learned long ago that it never hurts to ask. Just in case, my cell is 386-433-0021. I'll be travelling tomorrow AM, but also in the airports killing time.
Maybe we'll get a chance to meet this August. Our plans are to be in Kingston for a bit with the Barth.
