Just got back from a great day at my in-laws. As usual, I ate too much. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Hope everyone had a SAFE Thanksgiving! After over eating (does anyone not?) on Thursday it was off to just south of the Boston area on Friday morning (7 hour ride) to pick up my latest addition to my collection:

Nice ride! That gives a new meaning to "Thanksgiving". We spared one of the 45 Million Turkeys that get slaughtered each year for the feast and ate seafood. According to reliable sources that was on the pilgrims table anyway. We planned to be in Las Vegas since it was our wedding anniversary but ended up in Illinois ... But if anyone needs an overnight place in Rock Island IL (Quad Cities), there is dry RV parking at Jumers Casino (I280 exit 11A) and they got a good buffet ($9.99 Fri and Sat for Prime Steak and Crablegs).

I, my family and Tonka all want to thank Bill, Rusty, Nick, Corey and everyone else involved in this great site. We're just really getting started and all the good helpful people and depth of information are invaluable.

Bruce, spiffy coupe. What is it and what's it got in it?

I don't know if Danny will remember, but for years we used to pass a 1936 Ford 2 door sedan hump back on the way up to my parents cottage. I had planned on buying that car once I got my drivers license. The week after I got my license, the car and the people that lived in the house were gone. I still would like to get a hump back, but unless finances change it ain't in the future.

It's a 1936 Ford 5 Window Rumble Seat Coupe. The drive train is all Chevy, 350 motor, 350 turbo and a 10 bolt rear. I didn't build it or it would have been Ford. Not that I do not like Chevy, but I believe a Ford should stay Ford, a GM should stay GM and a Mopar should stay Mopar. But that ain't gonna happen here. Bought it for a neat ride to be bop around in and the price was right, so there will be no changes. And Kathleen loves it because it has a great stereo, a rumble seat and neon lights underneath!
And thanks for the tip Corey---it is getting that done this week.......
