She has never been the same but she has gotten around pretty well considering. She is slowing down and starting to get forgetful,.....but then again she is going to be 94 this summer.

Overhang Hall Of Shame: 2012 Edition. Corey, I moved this over here to keep this one thread active and also added in a picture for posterity. Danny did a cool thing by starting this thread back in 2009 and I would like to keep updating this instead of starting anew. It's nice to go back and view some of these "beauties". Not all members know that we've been tracking this stuff for awhile now. It's a real eye opener to see what you should avoid and just how many coach manufactures out there really aren't thinking clearly when they build these things.

Moved Reply: A '96 with only 4,600 miles? Didn't drive it much. Didn't state the mpg (says we wouldn't believe it!) Implies that mpg was great (the Gear Vendor splitter is a plus) If it was so great why did they only drive 300 miles a year? (How do they know???) Interesting. South Dakota plates, for sale in Missouri, but wintered on the coast of California? With 4600 miles? The rear chassis overhang is obnoxious indeed. I'm partial to my Barth tag axle placement, seems fairly balanced in appearance. 9708-M0037-37MM-01 "98" Monarch 37 Spartan MM, 6 spd Allison Cummins 8.3 325+ hp

Moved Reply: I'm not sure you can take your choice of roads out of West Plains with that much overhang. I think you need to get out the topo maps and chart a course. Between the Ozark mountains and the winding roads the overhang either high centers, takes out the opposing lane or the guardrail.

Moved Reply: From my measurements I get 14'3" from the center of the rear axle to the rear end, which looks to have discovered a hungry driveway. Would be interesting to see how they extended the frame, I peaked under one of the W'bago's with the long overhang and it was really scary, very thin, cheap C channel with two bolts holding it on, a clue was the 2,000 Lbs. tow rating sticker on the bumper, I'd imagine anything being towed would be waggling around quite a bit.
