With the election cycle starting to gear up, I would like to see political views on this forum as few as posssible. I know it can be tempting to put a jab in here or there,
but I ask that we do our best to post political views on other forums. I know this forum is as much a social forum as it is an informational. I enjoy this forum for its great info. and enjoy reading the different Posts. I Know Barthmobile.com has been one of the benifit of owning a Barth. Barths are a class of there own. So is this forum. Lets keep the dirt of politics out of it. JMHO.

With the election cycle starting to gear up.... I think it'll be hard NOT to discuss politics at some point. Although I agree that it can get a little messy at times. Remaining civil and adult-like is key.

I help admin another forum where the previous policy was "Absolutely NO discussion of religion or politics" for the reasons you mentioned above. However we found that we had to make reasonable exceptions for the 2008 elections because they were so historical for many reasons.

I hope that the most divisive thing discussed on this forum is whether the toilet paper should come out over the top of the roll or out the bottom of the roll in a Barth head.

What a decision - over the top or the bottom... Problem O we do not have a toilet paper holder in the Barth... What a dilemma, I guess sideways ???

From the video, it seems to make no difference.

When we first got our 767s, the vacuum flushing toilet was a novelty. Some employees entertained themselves by pulling the end off a roll of TP, dropping it in the bowl, and flushing. The flush cycle had a timer, but a few soon learned how to bypass it so the whole roll could be pulled down the drain.

The story went that this form entertainment caused a rise in TP consumption, which caused great alarm with the toilet paper buyers. An investigation ensued and they specced that all future TP would have easier-to-tear perforations.

Perhaps this would be a good marketing gimmick for TP for cat owners. Kitty-Proof TP.

Childhood memory!! We used to do that in grade school, by continuously pumping the lever-style flush activator and seeing how fast the roll of toilet paper would unroll and get sucked down the tube. "Kids having fun" was a pretty innocent term then.

the most aggravating is that superthin TP at McD's, you only get 1 inch before it rips apart. That's why I vote sideways and free spooling (no holder = a freethinking spirit) Smiler
