Hello there. Welcome to the forums. You been lurking for a year huh? Then, you'll know why I'm asking about your roadside repairs then. Which 77 Barth did you get and what happened on your trip?

Our Barth is a 25 foot on a 1976 Chevy chassis. I am not sure if she is a Regal/Euro/ ?model? so far. I will post pictures and her "backstory" about how she ended up in our driveway in some future thread. It was a round-about route. Our roadside repair was a fan belt (alt, water pump, fan) replacement about 5 miles west of Leavenworth, Washington. About halfway up the cascade mountains. Just before leaving on our 700 mile roundtrip i was lurking here as usual and read some good tips. This prompted me to hit the local auto parts store and buy spare belts and rad hoses to throw in Barth's "bum". Thank goodness i did. Otherwise our half hour pitstop could have been much worse. Ok next question: I know someone here wants our data tag info. Exactly what do you want and where do i send/post it?

Note the front bumper hitch. There was a post here not long ago about using the front hitch to push his boat to see better to launch. Any connection? #1 29' 1977parted out and still alive in Barths all over the USA

No connection to that post, but as best as we can figure that's what its there for. There is a matching one in the back. It was probably a case of 100 miles to the lake hitched to rear and the last 20 feet into the lake hitched to the front.

We are in Coquitlam. We also just returned (from our 1st big trip) in Barth. We were Grand Coulee area, just south of Osoyoos. We also came back through the Cascades over Hwy 2 (Stevens Pass). We are already planning big-trip #2 over the Cascades, on Hwy 20 this time.
