Bruce and Kathleen Shaw from New Jersey were among the Barthmobilers who attended the early August New England Barth rally.

Bruce sent a few pictures and asked me to post them for him. Here is another batch of pictures from the event.

This was truely one of my most enjoyable camp-outs this summer and we have been out seven time, including a two and one half week foray into Maine's back woods and costal areas.

I hope more folks can make the second annual New England Barth Rally next year.

Sometimes I think we're alone in the universe, and sometimes I think we're not.
In either case the idea is quite staggering.

In the years that I had the website the one thing I truly regret is that I wasn't in the position to get a rally program going. This shows that you don't have to have a fancy set up with bus tours, catered meals, etc. etc. to have a ball. And, the gettogethers like this have a price tag that doesn't require one to spend a grand to attend.

Way to go to you all, keep it up. The photos tell it all.

As Rusty says, we'll be getting together in the Tampa area, [Hillsborough River State Park], Dec.7-9. No big organizational effort, just an easy way for us to get together for a weekend. As the NE Barthers showed, it only takes a few folks out to have a good time to make a memorable weekend. Hope to hear from some more folks that want to make the Fla. GTG
