Thank you for doing this. We appreciate the info as it helps us to get a better sense of what Barth did and why. Or, what may have happened after these left the factory. Your coach has started to tell a story. Case in point... Your tag number is 8606-3339-25FP2 that 3339 should be written on everything in either a magic marker or a little tag. But in a subsequent post you have your center section cup holder on the dog house listed with the number 3328 This tells us that the center piece is probably out of a junkyard or the previous owners changed theirs over to something else. I would suspect that we'll never see coach 3328 grace our forums as it's probably been scrapped. Other members, and myself, that have redone our interiors, can report that we see our coach build numbers on all sorts of things. For me, 3709 was written on every major item and even on strips of molding in my coach. Yes, my center section cup holder says 3709 too. If you keep finding things in your coach that says 3328 instead of 3339, then maybe Barth messed up in the factory. Who knows, we may indeed find coach 3328 but with all of 3339 interior parts in it. Let us know what you find written on other pieces of your Barth. It's members like you who contribute to these projects that help us get a better understanding of what we're driving.

My Barth is a 95 34' Monarch built 8-17-94. It is built on a Spartan IC with a 250hp Cummins. The coach number is 9408-3927-34MI-9B The Chassis number is 4S7NT9K08RC015838 It has a jacknife sofa behind the driver then the galley and the head followed by the bedroom with a centerline queen. On the passenger side there is a spot for a loose chair then the wheel well and then the dinette followed by the Closets then the TV and bedroom. I bought this last week from Frank Free of the Charlotte NC area. Everything works and it is not a project. Hi Keirn, and Welcome! Monarchs are a little rare here. Is yours a rear or side radiator? Is the Cummins a B or C? Front or side door? Any more pictures? . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered

Thank you Bill. It is a side radiator cooling an 8.3l C series. The door is forward of the dinette and and aft of the spot behind the co-pilot seat. I think that would be a side door. It seems that Photobucket only saw three of the pcitures I e-mailed to it. I am very pleased with the Barth the A/C is quiet as is the rear engine. This is my fourth motorhome but my first one this big. The 76 GMC I had in the 70s was beautiful but not practical. The Barth is both. It's in the shop this weekend getting all the fluids changed and belts and filters etc. I hope the following picures are there. Welcome to the forums and thanks for the images!!! Perhaps you can post one of your data tag too? What is a B-Series or C-Series Cummins Engine? For our model years only, I won't try to bore everyone here with what it means today... The B-Series Cummins Engine is a 5.9L which is the most typical engine on the Breakaways. The C-Series Cummins Engine is an 8.3L which is what he has in his Monarch. The L-Series Cummins Engine is a 10 liter engine known as the L10 which we've seen in a Regency. The M-Series Cummins Engine is an 11 liter engine known as the M11 and we've seen this in a Regency too.

One fine looking Barth! Welcome and I hope we get to see it one day. On a side note, what was that huge front engine Barth we saw a few years ago? Someone said it was a locomotive engine planted in the front of a beautiful Barth. Hope it's still cruising. 79 Barth Classic

Do you mean the one with a bosun's chair on a roof pulley to enter and leave the driver seat? I think it had a triple nickle Cummins. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered

Bill - I think the M11 is 11 liters, the follow up on the L-10. ( Then an ISM in the early 2000's) The 14 L is an N-14

Yes it is... Odd, I thought I had it listed that way. The 4 is right above the 1 on the keyboard so I might have had happy typing syndrome as I wasn't trying to include the N14 in my discussion. I was trying to stop at M11. I guess typing, and phonetically hearing the letters "M" & "N" in my mind kept me from catching it. The N14 was known earlier as the 855. Sorry for the confusion but thanks for the correction. Straightened it out above too.

Okay here we go but I finally got the information. Here is what I have. I do not have a picture of the Data Tag but I am now in my possession of both manuals. It is a Breakaway-Side Entry The Coach number is 9311-3895-33BB-3B and the VIN is 4S7PT9J10RC010913. From the scratching and digging I had done before now I suspected it was a close sister to Richard Muise's Barth. Danged if my sleuthing was proven correct. What do we think? This Barth has a Spartan Chassis as I have the full Spartan Owners manual. I see Richards has the BB just like this one with 33BB. It's a diesel pusher with a Cummins 5.9 or 8.3 230hp. It has a 3060 Allison 6 speed transmission. Stay tuned for updates as I find them out and pictures when I get the 1900 miles to Yuma to drive it home. I have been hanging out reading and researching on site here since 12/09/2010. I have gleaned a lot of great insight from all the great folks on site without asking hardly any questions. Some other things I have learned from the manuals and notes. This coach was purchased on July 14th as new direct from the Barth factory. It had been used as their demo and had 12,016 miles on it.
