my old 1969 barth
hello everyone,i am tickled to say i have what possibly may be the oldest barth motorhome known to man,or at least this fine website.although the oct.69 built motorhome pictures may be enough to make me jealous with envy, bragging rights for the oldest may belong to me,after conformation of the nice canadian couples pictures, when uploaded to this site, will only conform or deny my motorhome as the oldest.as this senseless post continues,my old motorhome lacks the pristine beauty of most on this sight, please give it the credit that is due,as one of the first's that started a tradition among recreational enthuestists,as the oldest barth,as seen in pictures.Although it has not seen the highway in 5 plus years, only time and tinkering will put this classic back on the highway.More pictures to come,as the old classic that revolutionized the recreational industry, regaines life, and awes the people,as it rolls the highways of ohio, and beyond!thank you for looking and reading, barth enthuisits. No disrespect intended at all, trying to give credit to an old aluminum heap,as the oldest.thank you!

Bill N.Y.I have a saying, if you don't have the pictures, it didn't happen.

We are picture nuts on this site. Post a few and let us see what you have. Snap a picture of the data tag or vin number or even a tag that might look like this.
As this photo illustrates, the number is 698747 or August 1969 and the 747th unit built.
That coach was built on GM Chassis #PE329F893940
Those photos I just posted are currently listed as our oldest self propelled Barth. I believe he is in the same boat as you are with resurrecting his Barth.
Thanks for sharing Greg.
The above is a picture of Greg's 1969 before he moved it.
Here is what it looks like today. Getting it out of the grass and into your garage is definitely progress.

69 BarthMy 1969 Barth has a Data Tag of 6911790 MH.
The Date on the Owners Manual says "Date of Mfg. 11-6-69". I can send pics to interested parties as I would consider selling.

StinkyDaddyThis one doesn't resemble the front end of Greg's 1969 MH at all. Is there a data tag on this "new" 1969 model, or is just the owner's manual available?

69 BarthBill, I am relying on the data information shown on the Owner's Manual at this time. I have not been able to locate where the Data Tag is 'hiding' on this MH.
