headlight outside chrome pieces?

FWIW: Those headlight bezels should be easily available...Besides Barth, they were used on 1970's-early '80's era Bluebirds, Newells, Kenworth, Peterbilt, IH, Brockway (Mack)tractors, etc. Heavy truck junk yards would be a good bet.

I have an update on this coach
quote:
Bill,
Seems that life has unexpected surprises. ...A week ago Friday, I was talking to... Jeff ..., about my new Barth and that I was parting out my old one. Jeff... was a journeyman auto and truck mechanic... He also spent 15 or so years as a mechanic for a local race team. He asked if he and his wife could come out and take a look at it. It's missing bumpers (Bill Henneberg), wiper motors (DannyZ), generator, propane tank, and a few other items. They did come out a week ago, and to make a long story short, I told him he could have it if he wanted.

He spent 2 days rewiring parts, replacing lines, checking systems fabricating bumpers and about an hour ago, he and his wife, drove off with it. He wanted to give me something for it, but as a Barthophile (new word?) I told him just seeing it saved was enough. They're a great couple and I'll get them on the web site soon... I'm just so glad it has a home.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours,
Herb
I am glad too.

What a Great Story!!!! I know I would have hated tearing up something that nice piece by piece. I'm glad you got to see it go to someone who saved it. I pretty new to the Barth experience but I am enjoying the attention it gets when I take it out. (especially when you can read the peoples' lips as they mouth the word "Barth" on the front.) Gorm

Could not agree with you more Gorman! Smiler(I get a reaction every time I take it out)... + She has a good foundation. I hope the new owner has plenty of questions to keep us busy and enjoys the new unit as we do ours!
