I'll second that. If I were in your shoes, I'd be on it. Consider also that military obligations have a way of getting urgent. This could leave you in a bad situation if trouble developed with the 6.2. It is a bit of an orphan, and good help might be hard to find. The Cummins 5.9 would be more convenient to deal with if trouble arose. I was working full time for a very inflexible employer when I bought our Barth, and the same logic led me to buy a gasser on a Chevy chassis. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered

Bill, Wow, I'm very suprised you were able to find the previous owner of that Barth in Texas on the forum. How the hell you drug that out beats me, good memory. Well, I got a response from the salesman at PPL: "All I can tell you is that it is a chevy diesel engine with the o/d transmission. I have no other information about the transmission type." David Cooley Sales Representative PPL Motor Homes So you all were right. They sell them but don't seem to really know them.....or care to know them. I'll check out the link you posted to the 28' Breakaway when I get back to my room. They block all of the pictures to conserve bandwidth at work. Thanks for thinking of me. I'll let you know what I think.

PPL also does consignments... so, it might still be the current owner of this coach.
