Bill and Sherrie, from everybody here, you'll be missed but we will try to carry on. Sorry to hear about your brother's place and fully understand your need to stay and help. We would all do the same thing.

Bill and Sherrie, just glad no one was hurt. Be careful with the work. I've fallen off one roof too many.

I'll bet they are having a blast. With that many of our upper echelon members in one place the "fun meter" is probably pegged in the red! We'll have to wait for the always interesting updates.
Too bad the weather is so unstable..I half considered jumping in my "other Barth" (Cessna 172) to look for an airport near Appling. Heck, I could probably land it in Nick's meadow! I could be there in a few hours...oh well, maybe next time.

We're not having that much fun. The Nacho cheese dip was 3 minutes late. Dinner was chicken thighs and hot wings, plus salad. Weather has been clear but slightly warm. The champagne was also 2° too warm. Lost feed for the Indianapolis 500 for nearly 30 seconds.

But we soldier on...Big Grin

We got the roof on, my brother has a boom lift and a sky trac, so it went pretty smooth. We were able to flip the portion of the roof that was hanging down back up using the sky trac to make a temp roof while we were working.

My brother's 8 yr old daughter gave Walker some pointers on operating the lift. She was really a big help ferrying whatever we needed from the ground to the roof. It's amazing how well she can operate the lift just inches from the roof. Walker helped out too by doing ground running for us.

A fresh shiny new roof.

Thanks for the encouraging words from everyone, we really were looking forward to going to Nick's.
