Was thinking about food. Will try wrapped smokies (have not used my oven yet), Apple/Grape/Walnut salad, Angel fluff and a stack of styrofoam plates. Is there a need for extra chairs and tables? Or do they have picnic tables available for all the guests? What about soda pops/water?

Marvin+Doris your menu sounds good and we are suggesting that each family furnish their drinks and a few extra ones for our guests.

Can someone remind me what night Helen & I are cooking? How many will we be feeding? We are doing a Louisiana seafood dish (TBD) and will buy everything fresh, before we head out.

Billy, we had talked about Friday night. We have 20 coaches signed up so I'm guessing 35 to 40.

Some people (me) have mechanical & computer skills, but absolutely no cooking skills. I could go on, but it would sound like a personal ad for eHarmony.com. There you go, I said it, my Kryptonite has been revealed. If it wasn't for Linda, fast food joints and the chain restaurants, I would be reduced to eating store made prepared foods, canned goods and boiled hotdogs.

So, if it's alright with the rest of you, I would like to contribute chili. I prefer the hot stuff but it will be made mild-hot. This is easy for me to do and would require minimal effort to reheat. It's a shame that I can't show off my wife's fantastic potato salad recipe, but she assures me that it wouldn't be any good several days later.

Bill, chili is an excellant idea and it always tastes better after a day or two (like spaghetti sauce). See ya soon.

Folks, it lookslike Anne and I will not be able to attend this rally. We were sure looking forward to seeing everyone again. This year has brought a lot of sickeness in both our familys. My mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year and passed away the last of March and Anne's mother had a stroke the first of the year and has not progressed very good.
We will miss seeing everyone and socials. Best wishes to all of you and good luck on the GTG. Hope to see everyone soon. Ray and Anne (sky)
