Corey and Cheri posted the same time as me, both with the same info. For those coming from the North down 75 you definately want to take the 50 exit [it's well marked as a Hillsborough State Park exit] and jump over to 301 s. Easy state road cruising.

I need some advice on Hillsborough State Park if I want to tow my 14' trailer to the gathering. Does anyone know if they allow that or where I would put it?
Thanks,
Corey

Your site shows being double drive 115 ft. deep so I don't see a problem with a trailer. If it fits on your site they'll allow it, and worst case you might have to park it in overflow. If it's too tight to back it in with the coach, we can always use Jims pickup to put it where you want it.

I called the park about bringing our golf cart on a trailer and they said no problem. Like Danny said some of the sites are big so you should be able to find a spot on one of our sites.

Pork tenderloin and stuffed Jalepeno Pepper Poppers from our side and Margaritas to put out the fire.

I'm working on getting my gas grill to the GTG. I haven't checked on putting it on the rear rack, but I think Jim might have room in the pickup if I can't. I'm talking a 3 burner w/ side burner so we'll be able to cook pretty near anything. Deb & Ed's poke tenderloins are "to die for" and the poppers might make you wish you had, Red Face but I'll be scarfin' them down just the same! Just 3 weeks out and it's looking better all the time.

There are photos on most of the GTG threads. Last year's HRSP GTG is at http://barthmobile.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/9331087061/m/6661062172/

The above post was a test of Bill's tutorial in a recent post.

Corey and I have some friends-Tom & Annette- that will be joining us at the Florida gathering. Although they don't own a Barth--they have a Winnebago -we are sure they will enjoy the time. They are NY'ers that winter in Florida and we have the pleasure of them as our southern neighbors. They are slated for site 51D.
Also my sister has come across with her "ribs" recipe so we will be contributing ribs and dip/chips for Sat.

As noted here earlier, our friends Jim & Patty have a Hi-Lo tow behind, so your friends won't be the only SOBers. Glad to have them, and the ribs will go great for dinner.

Todays check finds Hillsborough to be completely sold out for our weekend. Hope everyone who wanted to go made their reservations. I think we have a pretty good group and we're really looking forward to it. Saturday nights menu is coming together, but we could still use a little input. Any questions or comments?
So far here's what we have;
Rusty- Onion soup, green beans, beer bread
Jim & Patty- Seafood chowder
Dan & Suzy- bacon wrapped shrimp & or scallops
artichoke & spinach dip w/ chips, and maybe broccoli cornbread?
Deb & Ed- pork loins, Pepper poppers
Corey & Cheri- ribs, chips & dip
Tom & Annette- pasta salad and dessert

BTW Ice is available at the camp store. Buck fifty for a 10 pounder. Firewood is usually about 4 bucks for a pretty good size bag at the ranger station, but with a full campground I wouldn't count on availability all the time.

I can bring some firewood, but IIRC, state parks don't permit bringing in firewood due to the possibility of spreading the Southern Pine Bark Beetle and other pests.
