As I am reading prior postings note that some sites have been assigned. Did the campground do that as when I made my reservation they just said we would be with the "group" Does anyone know? Should I call back and "push" a bit for the site number? They did tell me they are not busy generally that time of year and that even though we are arriving on 4th we wont have to move sites once the official gathering begins
Thanks
Cheri

Here you go... pick a number and it's yours. I'll pin you and fill in the information.

Site numbers available are 01, 02, 03, 04, 08, 10, and the primo site of 21. If you want to hide, pick a lower number, if you want to be awoken early or have your site overrun, pick a higher number. Big Grin

Thanks Bill,
I am going to let Corey do the honor of picking the site! He is on trip right now but will look later and let you know.
Is there any difference in length of sites? We will be towing 20ft cargo trailer as we will be heading to Florida after gathering. Corey likes to keep the "toys" nearby!

I'm still retaining my reservation, hoping to go (now more probable). I may not have to go to the Peach State Star Gaze early, as three of us stayed several extra days last year and got most needed things done, and I'll be there in SEP for a few days. One of the things we did was to put in 9 more 30A RV slots, so arriving early to snag a spot isn't critical, either. And I can stay later, anyway (landowners' privelege Big Grin).

Rusty might be going? You were in 21 before. Do you want me to put you back?

Yes, please do. There are plenty of folks to cover the first few days of the PSSG, and what coolee work isn't done, Peter and I can knock out in September.

EDIT: I'll be there. Arrive THU 10/8, and probably leave Monday. Since Nick and Donna will be there 10/7, I may move arrival up a day.

Ok Corey just called me-he is actually at the Cherry Hill Park looking at sites! He says to go for site 8. So if you could "pin" us in that would be great.

Rusty,
Great to hear your back in. Thumbs Up I will get to meet you after all, though it be in D.C. instead of South Jersey. And Lee has somebody next to him once again! Eeker
Anyone Who Hasn't Reserved a Spot---
And now there are (4) sites left on Barth Blvd. (Badlands Gulch)....who will grab them hmm??? Just think, (24) fellow Barthmobilers Big Grin in one spot. And to boot, that spot is our Nations Capital! You really don't want to be left out of this great gathering, do you head bang? For those who decide to jump in, you just need to make a reservation with the campground and tell them you are with the Barth GTG. Then just post here Computer (MatandAng-we're waiting for you to do this) and let Bill know which of the open spots you want. My understanding is that Cherry Hill Park is leaving the site designations to us.

You do know that this site's actual number is 1408 right?

As of today, site numbers on Barth Blvd, that's still available are 1401, 1402, 1403, 1404 & 1410.

Bill,
One of the five listed available sites should be for MatandAng, as they posted that they made reservations. We just can't seem to get them to respond to where they would like to be on Barth Blvd.!!! Confused
That would leave four available. We still have not heard from Bill G and Richard M from Mass?

Just wanted to make sure seeing that he was actually standing there and looking. 95% of us will not see this campsite until we pull up. I would have hated to see that he was disappointing because of a little mixup like that.

I believe that they really want to go and are trying their best to attend. They will know more the closer it gets to the GTG date. I can relate to this line of thinking and do hope they attend...

RE: MatandAng... Have you tried shooting them an email or doing the PM thing?

Thanks for your concern Bill. Corey was in DC area for a conference so he couldn't resist finding the campground and checking it out. He said the "overflow" area was okay too should the group happen to exceed the 24 coach limit.
