Like Bruce, I might be pulling a trailer. So, to avoid uncoupling, 411 might work. I have never seen the property. just going by the map. For all I know, there might be a lot of trees right behind it. Otherwise perhaps 429.

would like a site that I might be able to pull into with my cycle trailer attached to the coach rather than backing in. Looks like 411, 428 or 429? I'll leave that decision to those who were there before to put me in an easy accessible site

These sites are short (but no trees). Best to plan on uncoupling; you may have to park the trailer alongside.

All right all right the twins will meet agian. For those who would like to see what the fair grounds look like go to Google earth and zoom in on the upper left corner of the grounds. No trees, level some grass , trains in the night confusion, good showers, ample room , what more could you ask for since it will be all Barth all the time cheersAll who wander are not lost. I spell it bARTh.

Thank you Rusty. That helped me a lot (after using County Road instead of CR). used STREET VIEW on Monroe Street. just like being there looking over the fence into the camping spaces. KEWELL! I see that 411 should provide me with ample space for the Barth and the Featherlite.

Most of the sites you could drive through... you just need to make sure no one is parked in the other spot that you'll be driving through. Also, because the standpipe for electrical, water and sewer hookup is in the back, you would definitely need a really long connection to hookup if you do it that way.

I'm not really impressed with this place because of that and the train track/horns. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed going and I wouldn't hesitate to stop there in the future... I just want to make sure you know the lay of the land beforehand.

Hopefully I'll be able to swing this into my plans for next year... I would really like to go again.

Okay, a little help from our computer literate friends---I have to download Google Earth to use it??? Not that it matters. Site 428 will work for us! I just have to beat whomever is in site 429 to the fairgrounds. And as long as we are within 25-30' of the electric we can hook up. Can't wait. Can we make this the LARGEST BARTH GTG to date??? I think so....

Bruce, my eMac does not have the plugin for Google Earth. I merely zoomed in on the map or satellite image and then dragged the yellow man onto the yellow-shaded street (Monroe) North of the campsites.
You can go to any map location and look to see if streets are highlighted yellow. If so, you can drag the person from the upper right hand corner onto the roadway in order to view 360 degree images that were recorded from a vehicle traveling on the street at some time. It is marvelous! It can even be done on the famous rural stretch of US129 at TN/NC line known as "The Dragon". That is where we go with the MINI to experience 318 turns in 11 miles.
