Nick CagleI know who it is and what they will be in but I won't give it away.

I have vowed to keep it a secret. I didn't even know that Nick knew. They/he/she (pick one) said they would tell all soon enough. I'm just trying to have a little fun with it until then.

My thoughts? They should wait until the GTG and just surprise everyone.

carlflackTo be truthful within minutes of posting the winning bid I got a email sent to me inviting me as a new Barth owner to join Barthmobile.com
His signature was Barthbill, not knowing this person I replied that it was obvious he owned a Barth so I disclosed my name to him.Lo and behold I get a reply from our famous"Bill H",so he gets first prize in knowing how stupid this old man was.Fortunately with all my mistakes I really like the diesel and I was very lucky to sell the old coach the day same day as my new diesel arrived.Sorry to disappoint Scotty DL the diesel will not be back on EBay and yes I paid way too much. You can all see it when we get to the GTG.

RustyCarl, if the things Betty mentioned have been fixed, I don't think you paid too much...look at what else you could have gotten for $20K - not much, and you still have a Barth. Even with the scrupulous care Conrad Bennett took of my coach, I still had to put a couple of kilobucks into it.
That's still the lowest price anyone, to my knowledge, has ever paid for a Breakaway.

I agree Carl. Plus, it sounds like they tried to do the right thing by you.

I wouldn't be too down on myself. If they are standing behind you and have fixed the problems, I wouldn't give them a bad rating.
There are plenty of crooked people. Thankfully, it sounds like you have a pretty decent guy just trying to do the right thing.

I believe he told me that he is still calling it "The Toy" and not "The *$%&@"

Jim and TereHey to all. This is Jim. I will not be going to the GTG on the 18th, bad back etc. But I'm trying to get Tere to go without me. So, I'm enlisting all of you to talk her into going. Hell, if I were dead, she'd go!!!. So, send her emails. She'll have a blast, but you've got to convince her.
Thanks maybe another time
Jim

RustyActually, you can tell Tere that you were only The Consort; it's she we really wanted to meet. Best of all, with her there, we'll have someone to talk about behind his back! (Yeah, I know, a poor choice of anatomical region, but it's a
cliche').
Seriously, there's still a week for you to heal, so maybe you can be well in time.
