Thanks for the hospitality Lenny and Judy, enjoy the festival. We highly recommend the restaurant next to the campground (in a red barn) "Crawfishtown USA". Great food.
sorry we could not stay longer but we had no armband. On the road again ... oh I forgot - we are on a never ending vacation trip.Big Grin

Thanks to all for my inaguration into the Barth GTG's! The folks are great; the cooking by Helen was out of this world and the range of backgrounds and interest of all who attended was simply amazing. Besides getting more advice and help with the many things Barth we all enjoyed great weather and the chance to answer the many other campers questions starting with: "What is a Barth? I am not sure how to get more southern owners (outside of Florida) to come to the next one. I do encourage everyone to make the time to put meet and put faces together with the names we read in all the posts. Here's one salute to those I had the pleasure and honor of meeting in Breaux Bridge!

Wish I could have been there. I was able to meet Gary down in Yuma and wish I had had time to go see his coach but he did see mine and he was very helpful in me getting tires in Yuma. I hope fuel prices drop and time gets easier to find. If anyones heading this way bring me some crawfish Thumbs Up and I'll whip up some etoffee. Helen my mouth is watering!!!

Correction: Lenny and Judy are staying here until Thursday.

But tomorrow, Nick and Donna are headed for Monroe, LA, and Gary is headed up the Natchez Trace to end up in Lexington, KY.

I'm headed straight home (2 days, 620 miles) to take my scolding from Norman, my cat - this'll be a 30-day absence, and the most he's been left before was 25 days. He had 15 lbs. of food and 5 gal water, about 3X what he would need...

The total trip will be around 3500 miles, starting 4/10.

It was great to finally meet TomK - unbeknownst to me, another swabbie!

Helen, Donna, and Lenny and Judy took a lot of pix. I do have some of StaRV II up in the air at Billy T's...

Nick made me back into a post at the fuelling station - not much damage, but it'll be the impetus for me to remove the rear bumper and repair it from this and 2 prior impacts (those by other people). I'm considering replacing it with an aluminum one from another coach, to make StaRV II more authentic Barth-like - only the '94 28' Breakaways seem to have these wood/fiberglass bumpers.

What was a pisser is that another customer ran off with the elbow and exhaust tip, about $100 worth of parts... Mad

Okay Bill,
I will go to the shop later today and pick up the Nikon.

BTW, Helen's minor surgery went well and we are home, she is sleeping. Doc said no motorhome, that she has to soak in a tub three times a day?? So home, we are.

I'm glad to hear Helen's doing well!

Made it home without incident - much quieter!

I still have a vibration from the front, which I think is steering linkage related, as it comes and goes.
