If it's not too much trouble, could you flip the pages of the owners manual open and scan them for us. Would you happen to know what the vin# is? It should be on the registration and firewall. Here is an example of what the Vin# location looks like. In this example, it is the bottom most number.

I'm with Jim on this one. I think it's perfect.

If the worst-case scenario happens, and you decide to part it out, treat the windshields very carefully....They might be the most valuable pieces of all.....

I noticed that this one has some of the same windshield cracks as my '72 25L. Does anyone make this glass? It sure looks familiar, like maybe an old Freightliner C/O turned upside down. Is there any info as to what the original application was?

Based on our data tag project: From 68 to at least July of 1973 Barth installed the shorter front windshield. The first instance of the larger windshield is Nov of 1973. We have no Barth's, in our data tag project, that were produced between Aug and Oct of 73 to know the exact time of the changeover. If anyone owns a coach between those dates ~ coach# 1382 to 1484 ~ please update the data tag file so we can have a better understanding of when that changeover occurred.

All good questions that we have yet to crack.

Here is an option you might want to consider. If you do find out what they're for, or you do the 4 piece conversion, let us know how you made out.

There may appear to be cracks in the windshield but it is actually spiderwebs on the interior that make it look that way in the picture(s).

hi Greg in Ohio ,Barth glass not anything familiar to freightliner glass, I checked with coach glass.com about two years ago ,and they have windshields, to fit Barth but they were 1500. Dlrs each side.my coach windshields have couple rock chips on them.rubbergasket worst problem on it.

That ladder looks like a variation of one for a bustle.

I wonder if this wonder is still sitting on its rims waiting for rescue (or a drink of water it might seem) or if it has been parted out and the curvy ladder turned into aluminum foil.
