I am a new owner of a 1973 25' rusty basket case. It's been sitting for 10 years in the FL Keys, and I just had it trucked up to me. Now it's in my driveway in NC. I'm going to gut and remake the interior, but I'm not restoring it to original. I have a sleeker, more modern, minimalist interior in mind. So, if anyone is interested in cabinets, appliances, light fixtures, etc. let me know and we'll go from there. Better do it soon!

Lookin' good! (the coach is nice, too. Smiler) The 70's interiors weren't that special to me, you could have a lot of fun with that rig, make it yours! good luck. Welcome to the site. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Those early windshields are rare, protect them.

Hey! Thanks for the welcome note. And I am one lucky Girl...the previous owner gave me a new windshield with gaskets, never unpacked! That's just one thing off my very long list of the "will need"s.

Been up on the roof the past 2 days, washing the grime off. I've got a great tip for anyone who hasn't already tried this... Awesome degreaser, get it at Dollar Tree. It's outperforming everything else I've tried by miles.

Whoa! that windshield is worth gold! you are very lucky! Check out the site archives for much good info.

If you can, post the data tag info for the site archives. Often a placard behind driver. It will id your coach and assist in getting accurate info.

Computer Do Not Break These Windshields... We have been unable to locate any place that has them.

We don't even know what they originally fit.

Looking for the info that is found on one of these tags. The numbers are sequenced like this, and is listed as the...

rp's barth: I'm in Mooresville, about 30 miles North of Charlotte.

Again, thank you everyone for such a great welcome! I've never owned an RV, let alone one like this...going to be a steep learning curve but I'm always up for a challenge.

I've had 2 responders from my Craig's List ad: someone wants the dining booth and is coming in a few hours to see if they can take it out. Another wants the refrigerator and is asking if it's gas or electric.

Wow, I wish I could get things done that quickly!
You can start thinking about the new interior soon. (What's that phone thing with the cord?) Smiler

Bill NY will appreciate the tag data. We're trying to find out how many coaches were made and how many are left.

I got my coach a year ago. It had been stored in the Keys for several years also. There was no inside damage but the Chev front chassis wiring (headlights, turn signals, etc) was corroded and I replaced most of it. There is archive info here if you have to get into that. The Barth coach wiring was all good, hope yours is too.

Kalkaska, huh? I grew up in Whitehall and spent most of my summers on Torch Lake, my late grandpa had a cottage on the lake.

I know that I have serious problems underneath...I crawled underneath and saw about a foot & a half section of the frame missing from the left rear wheel to the bumper; just rusted off.
