I am an insurance adjuster and bought this motor home following hurricane Katrina to have a place to live and work. I have lived in it most of the last 4 years. The New Orleans usually not seen by the average tourist will never be the same in my lifetime. The Barth has served me well and I love the life style but I need a little more space to be a full time vagabond chasing disasters. I have the original manufacturer documentation as well as most of the maintenance records. I have never had any pets and do not smoke. Some features include a new 454 Chevy engine installed in 2007 that has 1,500 miles on it and the engine/transmission run great. The coach has 54,871 miles on the odometer. There 2 roof mounted AC units, propane water heater, furnace and 4 burner range, Sharp convection microwave, 2 door rfg/freezer that operates on 120v AC as well as propane, solid cherry cabinetry throughout, rear bathroom with tub/shower/toilet, bedroom has twin beds, sleeper sofa in the living room, Onan 6.5KW generator, awning. The data tag number is 8408-3125-28FP3 The coach is currently in Cumming, GA which is about 35 miles north of downtown Atlanta. I have several photos that I am going to attempt to include here but if that doesn't work I will gladly email them. Thank you for reading my ramblings, Bill Sold

Looks like a nice one. What is your selling price? Jim

Sorry I forgot the price. I was told be the guy who sold me my new RV to ask $6,500 but I don't want to spend a lot of time so I have priced it at $5,000. Thanks for all the interest and kind words. Bill

Is that tile floors or laminate? Tere
| ||||||||||||
|
I'm debating this, but it's 1000 miles away. It'd be perfect for my needs - towing a trailer and at the track.
|
Jim and Tere asked about the floors. When I got her in 2005 she had 20 year old chocolate brown shag carpet that my sweetie hated. She made me rip it out almost immediately and we replaced it with stick down tiles. They are much easier to keep clean. It was perfect when I finished but bouncing down the terrible roads in Louisiana has caused the tile to shift a bit and leave a few spaces. I think sheet vinyl would be a better choice next time but the first time I did not have the time to do that. Someone ask the zip code. I am staying in the Twin Lakes RV park about 35 miles north of downtown Atlanta in 30040. I'll add a few photos to show you why I've been here 8 months. It's a great place to come back to after a day of hard work. If I missed answering anyone's questions let me know. I hope my Barth finds a good, new home soon.

Danny, I know this is a very desirable deal, hence the lament. At this moment I can't see a way for me to swing it. #1 29' 1977parted out and still alive in Barths all over the USA

Willie, would you do a favor for me? To the right of your steering wheel, there are two round gages. The top one, which I think is the tach, is bigger than the bottom one, which I think is the transmission temp gage. Would you measure them for me(diameter) and tell me the name of the manufacturer? I want to buy those two gages and would like to use the same ones Barth used in my attempt to keep my '85 original. Thanks Jim
