MOONBEAM DO YOU EVER WORK.Must be good at harassment. When do you go camping what do you do when you go? See you can handle your self.you are very mechanical.Just never new what you did.
thanks

Many people wonder what I do, sometimes I even wonder, my wife certainly wonders D'oh I'm currently gliding to earth on a Golden Parachute as I am leaving the company I used to run. Therefore, the answer is, No, I don't ever really work, at least for the next 3 months and the past three months.

These days I have been puttering around the house doing lots of neglected jobs from the days when I did work. I'm practicing retirement, but find it exhausting! I revel in not having to spend half my life in airports and delight in spending days without ever leaving my property, maybe a run to Lowes.

Do we camp? Yes, about every other weekend all around Florida. Am I mechanical?... with one RV, one vintage Airstream, 3 motorcycles, 4 automobiles, two houses......I'd better be.....or broke!

What do I "do" in the rhetorical sense. I was North American President and CEO of a British based International military communications company that was bought out by an American multi Billion $ conglomerate. I'm currently being recruited to do the same thing for a division of Italy's largest defense corporation. Keep your fingers crossed for me, I think!

Oh,.... am I good at harassment? You bet, but only with people I like (perhaps I need to harass you some more Lenny ROTFLMAO ). People I don't like, they're in hiding Violence

I might just print this out to hand out at parties, would save a lot of useless banter.

I think that most of the Barth people are a charitable bunch and won't hold that against you.

It's exposing myself, something I'm pretty used to.

Fact is, I keep American warriors alive and highly effective. I protect them against the Number 1 permanent injury coming out of both Iraq and Afghanistan, permanent hearing loss. I give them the ability to fight, move, and communicate, something the enemy usually lacks. Nothing I've ever developed or sold is offensive, except my tonque sometimes.

I drive American and German cars (sorry WWII vets), German and Austrian bikes, and of course, an American Bus. I won't buy inferior equipment and take a chance on my or my family's safety just because it was made in the USA, but I'll always attempt to buy American first. I feel the same way about our warriors, they're part of my extended family.

I grew up in the family biz, a Chevy dealership. I saw American large company ineptness make my parents suffer unnecessarily. American business is complicit in whatever demise is afoot. I live on planet EARTH, not just the US, not just NH or Florida. Does that qualify me for Patriot or traitor, just ask the tens of thousands of American warfighters that can HEAR you ask them the question.

And Dick, thanks for the lead in - I know you are a Patriot!! Thumbs Up

You're my hero Lenny!

I'm a few weeks away from 53. AARP wants me to join, I feel like 28, still ride 100 mile motorcycle enduros, have three grand-kids and aspire to be the world's coolest "Bampi". I will definitely retire young, but it's so dang hard to know how long you will live and therefore how much money you need. I'll keep looking for my expiration date, but no luck so far Wink

Bill,

I used to ride this (before shot)...

a KTM 640LC4. It about killed me! Too heavy. Even young guys in the enduros would come up and comment that I was crazy riding this heavyweight. Here is a during shot....

and here is a halfway shot in the NE Cystic Fibrosis Charity Ride...

I now ride a KTM 300XCW. This bike is incredibly light, powerful, and though a 2 stroke, it grunts down under load like any 4 stroke. A work of genius and it makes up for my older age.

Let's see if this video will copy. (click mouse on picture) This is a friend behind me with a camera, we are practicing in NH. What doesn't translate well is how steep the terrain is.

Although I've ridden a bit here in Florida, haven't yet done an enduro here. I ride in Croom State Park which has an off-road bike and 4 wheeler area set aside and it's biG! The terrain here is flat, but the changing sand conditions are challenging. I prefer mountains, wet roots, and loose rock to be honest.

Stop looking! you don't want to find it.

You can have that mud and stuff. I was happy with my R50 and a solid pavement under me.

The occasional out here ran through parts of National Forests, but, as a desert racer, trees scare me.

Did you catch the video above Bill? NH is wall to wall trees! Two years ago I missed a corner, launched off the berm, and the guys behind me said I smacked a tree with my body about ten feet up it. It's strange that the most spectacular accidents sometimes do nothing, I ended up with a small bruised area the next day, but my ears were ringing all day from the noise my helmet made hitting the tree.
