1970 Barth Continental (San Diego) Classic 1970 Barth Continental trailer project. This is an RV Park version (hook-up only, no tanks) with an all aluminum shell (which is in very good condition - no leaks) over a heavy duty tandem-axle trailer steel frame. The interior was carefully removed to address a bathroom floor and remains to be reassemble to taste. It's about 90% complete including, original propane stove/oven, propane water heater and propane interior furnace, mini household toilet and mini bathtub, bathroom and kitchen sinks and fruit-wood interior cabinetry, which is actually lighter than lower left pic (sorry, there's no longer a refrigerator or an air-conditioner) and the front wrap-around-corner-style front window also make it distinct. Many possibilities exist for this project...you could choose to re-assemble it to its original spec's or you can re-create it your own way. Either route, it's an inexpensive cool vintage aluminum trailer that has simple classic lines and a buff-able-to-a-shine exterior. Other than the wood sub-floor, this trailer contains no structural wood to potentially rot, so Barth's choice of materials make it lighter overall and obviously very durable. This is really a must see trailer project to fairly appreciate how good a shape the trailer is in and what an exceptional value that this is. Barth was the considered the closest competitor to Airstream trailers during this era. The exterior shots and finished interior photo are for visual reference (since it shows a darker wood than mine), but the one for sale is for the same layout and overall condition. The bottom right photo is of the actual disassembled interior at present. Ask questions, make offers...trades? $2450/best 619-866-6119
