Steve VWWow! Another example of Barth variation!
Must be fairly early, it has round headlights... (hard to see with the front panel down, can't be too good for radiator cooling, either) The windshields are the larger ones (73 on)
That top riser and side windows are very different. Look maybe home made, no paint, trim, etc.
The duals on the tag make me wonder if the axle was also a retrofit... my tag axle isn't as close to the drive axle. (I can crawl between easily.) Also, those wheel wells are lower. On my coach, the top of the wheel well is about six inches above the bumper line, closer to the paint stripe.
Hmm... interesting Barth. What stories it could tell!

RustyWith duallies on the back, and with the close axle spacing, I wonder if it's a twin-screw...?

I think so too, which would have been appropriate for a loaded bookmobile or vintage lead-lined mobile X ray room.

Nick CagleJeff & Joy had or still have a Barth that was built as an executive entertainment coach that had dual wheels on both rear axles.

Steve VWGood point Nick. Jeff and Joy sold that coach to a nearby couple, Dick and Rose. Now J&J have a 33 ft tag almost the same as mine (85 or 86?..)
The older one had 16 inch wheels and a tag axle but I can't remember if it had duals on the tag. No bedroom, set up for a business/entertainment coach.
Dick has to replace a piston to get it right. Also asked me to help him troubleshoot the nonfunctional clearance lights. When I do I will look more closely at that tag axle set up.

None of the clearance light worked on the Class C when I first got it, Found every fixture bad. Replaced every one of them.

Mary RayThe "Entertainer" coach that Jeff n Joy owned did have dual wheels on the tag axle. I saw it at a GTG in Michigan.
