I guess I would have had a rude awakening had I been bidding. I thought it was like Ebay. So, if I bid $5,000.00 and the highest bid before me was $2.00 I would be winning it at 5k? This means it's more like bidding on a fine painting at Christie's Auction House... I wonder if he can hold up this paddle if he doesn't want it? Good to know for the future.

To get the auction results, go to www.gsaauctions.gov it will redirect the name of the website. On the light blue toolbar, find the "browse auctions" droplist, and choose "closed auctions". Then on the lower search window, enter "barth" and click the "search within results" section. click on "1990 BARTH INDUSTRIES " click on "Bid History " In terms of the bidding, these were the rules: Placing a bid: GSA Auctions® only accepts minimum and maximum bids. A maximum bid is the maximum amount you are willing to pay for an item. Maximum bids are also referred to as proxy bids. When you place your maximum bid, GSA Auctions® will use as much of your bid as needed to make you the current winner of the auction or to meet the auction's reserve price. The minimum bid you can place is either the starting price of the auction, or the current winning bid plus the bid increment. I like auctions because we know the actual selling price. Otherwise it is a big secret. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered | |||
