Where do these dealers get these prices? 50k seems really steep even if I were using for a hearing lab. By the time you convert it you'd be way over what you'd pay for one already set up as an RV. BTW how long is this thing? I didn't see that mentioned.

I wonder if you got the same lecture I did when I told the sales person I talked with that my offer would be in the 20K range for the vehicle.

I thought the salesman was condescending and rude. He didn't want to do anything more than talk you to death on the phone. All he wanted to know was if you had the money to close the deal and how soon you would be willing to come look at it.

I think they are hoping some Govt. agency with a lot of tax money to spend, and needs a mobile hearing test lab, will come along and gladley over pay for the vehicle.

I was told in no uncertain terms that "The people who own this dealership are not interested in offers, and are willing to hold on to this vehicle untill some one purchases it at the asking price".

From what I know about automobile dealers, they will wholesale it off before to long if some one doesn't come along and pay the price they want. The longer you hold inventory the more it costs. I may be wrong but I dont think so.
