Having owned several lesser trailers, I can really appreciate what a beauty this Barth is.

Does any other trailer anywhere near its size come close to such a nice dining area? Barths are superior motor homes, but their trailers surpassed the competition by an even greater margin.

Yeah, that really makes it. Most other trailers of that era had few and small windows.

When I had a class C, I always admired the Lazy Daze and their wrap-around rear windows.

Does anyone know if this unit is still available? Would make a great "office" at Barth rallies!

I got a screen shot for our files. If someone can manage to get the vin#, that would be great. You know, to verify the actual length... last 2 numbers of vin is the length with the tongue. Subtract 4 should give you floorplan length.

Here's your chance to own a piece of Barth history. This trailer is still for sale. I just heard from the owner, Ron Harmon, in Oregon:
"Hi It is still available, but my wife is cleaning and preparing it for a trip East in a couple of weeks. Thanks." >http://eastoregon.craigslist.org/rvs/1304550762.html
IF there are 3 other people willing to own 1/4 share and pass it to one another at a Barth rally or elsewhere, I will be the first to contribute $500. toward purchase. Details such as storage, transport and maintenance (minimal) to be agreed upon among the four? Any takers? Has to be done quickly in the next two weeks apparently. My email is grg@garygruber.com
Our Barth name and email belongs to my other half, Susan.

My impression was that this trailer was for sale only for 30 days or until it goes east and after that, either the price would go up or it would not be for sale. If you read the ad up above, or on Craigs List, it says "30 days and it heads east" and I am not sure what that means. Guess you could ask the owner via an email if you're interested. I remain interested for what it's worth (double entendre!). His email is:
ronharmon@earthlink.net
Thanks! Gary

I have since had several email exchanges with the owner, Ron Harmon, who says his wife is in the process of cleaning it up, falling in love with it all over again and that their current plans are to head for Kentucky in September. He said by then, the price will go up because of their investment of time, energy and some cleaning up along with a few minor updates. Nice piece of inexpensive Barth history for anyone interested.
Group ownership appears to be out of the picture now due to issues of storage, transport and
something akin to time share. If Ron stops by NM enroute east, I am hoping to get a close up look.
