My Spartan Motorhome Chassis manual that came with the Barth from new has a spec sheet that outlines engine options, including Cummins 8.3, Cat 3208, and DD 8.2. Don't recall a DD in a Spartan Barth showing up here but I bet if you ordered it Barth would build it! 1990 Regency 34' Cummins 6CTA 8.3 240hp Spartan Chassis, 4 speed Allison MT643

I just received a very blurry image that's not worth showing but they also included this text with it.

My brother and the owner have a deal! After inspection the price (unknown) includes repair or replacement of the turbo; providing a missing Southco compartment lock; reseal all the roof fixtures and vents to eliminate current leaks; while the owner is not going to replace the microwave or missing small tv's. The underside has rusted compartment corners and 3/4" steel rails (lower outside where the skin attaches below the compartments) that will be removed and replaced in the shop. A few other items include the rear tires are recaps and are going away but the suspension is new all around. All fluids and belts are new within 30 days and the air systems all work. He doesn't have a computer so I will attempt to post his messages and progress (he is 1500 miles away). I will try to get him signed up asap for the advice we all enjoy here. 1993 32' Regency Wide Body, 4 speed Allison Trans, Front Entry door, Diamond Plate aluminum roof & 1981 Euro 22' w Chevy 350 engine and TH 400 tranny
