Mileage: 50,000 miles
Only 45 'MCC by Barth' were built from 1979 to 1982. Each was built basically the same but with minor modifications and improvements as they went along. All were way ahead of their time as far as luxury and materials used. In 1982 each sold for around $150,000, quite a lot of money compared to the other motorhomes being sold at that time.
# 28 is equipped with: 8.2 L (500 CI) Turbo Charged Detroit Diesel "Fuel Pincher" HP, Allison 4-Speed Transmission, 4-wheel Independent Suspension, Kohler Water cooled 4 cylinder Propane fuled Generator 7500 watts, 50 amp Shore power cable, Mueller Air Over-hydraulic 4 wheel dis brakes, 2 roof A/C units, 2 propane furnaces, 3 built in electric heaters, 2 twin beds in bedroom, fold out couch, leather dash and power front seats, 2 chairs, microwave oven, stove top, oven, heat exchanger/electric hot water heater, Jabsco air horns, Alcoa 22 in. Aluminum wheels (6), HWH levelers.
Other luxuries include: 6 speaker AM-FM stereo/cassette sound system, Cherry wood cabinets throughout, double-door closet, tinted windows throughout, dual systems-monitoring panels, three remote control power vents, hideaway vacuum system (don't have the hoses), reading lights, cable TV hookup. Updated or added since 2000: Pleated day/night window shades, porcelain toilet, "Fantastic" bath vent fan, "Bus type" mirrors, 4 wheel Alignment Steering Solution (MCR), Trailer brake controller & power converter, trasmission oil cooler, Norcold refrigerator, reupholstered couch and new curtains. Also included with coach: Original Barth binder with equipment instructions, original sales brochures and a roll of schematic drawings of the coach
Purchased MCC by Barth in 1999, spent a couple of years updating and replacing things, took one two week trip in about 2004, husband decided RVing was not his thing. In 2006 husbands friend, who also had a MCC by Barth, had his speedometer cable go out. The two of them decided to swap his broken cable for our working one. Problem at that point was that his odometer read well over 100,000 miles, this coach, for sale, really has less than 50,000 miles on it. New batteries were put in in 2002, will probably need ones to move it from lot. Four years ago coach was driven from So. Central Texas to Broadwell, Il and was consigned. Everything on coach was in working order at that time, with the exception of the speedometer.

If you are looking for a cheap, older motorhome, this isn't it. This is a very unique motorcoach, in that there were only 45 made, not hundreds or thousands. The materials used can't be matched by any others. The person who admires and buys this motorcoach will not want the common, ordinary, cheap motorhome that everyone else has, and will be proud of it's uniqueness.![]()

We, basically, have to fax docs 72 hours before we arrive at your border agency/crossing so they can export the vehicle and then we take it over to the Canadian border agency/crossing and they do paper work and $$$ to admit into Canada.
...Any other Canadians want to comment further?
