I'm going to get a new rivit tool tomorrow, unless Doug has a good one. This one was borrowed from a neighbor, who has mostly good tools, but he doesn't do the rivit thing much so he had this POS that filleted my finger.

Danny, that's not a cheap tool - look closely and you'll see that it's a left handed rivet tool. mechanic
By the way, how many rivets did you get in before that happened?

I got enough to hold it up, but I want it really snug, so I'm holding out for a better tool. I'm really happy with the way this project is coming along, but some things just p me off.

Doug loaned me his high quality riviter and it works like a charm. Suck them suckers up good and tight and nips them clean. What a difference!
Unfortunately, after this mornings thunderstorm I found I still have a little leak at the front of the vent. Still workong on it.
