Since I live in the woods, out of view of everyone, I don't decorate. I go to my sister's NW of KCMO for the holidays anyway, and we decorate there.

We have settled on simple inside window treatment this year foregoing my annual ritual of doing the Griswold Family Christmas scene.

I'll drink to that...(perhaps a Brandy Alexander. Smiler ).

Actually, those light strings used to drive me to drink. I am a bulldog when chasing electrical problems, but those things plum wore me out, so we bought a Lightkeeper, too.

Ours was from http://www.frontgate.com/jump.jsp?itemID=17910&itemType...ctID=17910&k=XX23159 at $17 delivered.

Enjoy! Hey..17 bucks is a great deal delivered! I shoped thru a bunch of stores untill I found mine at a local Ace Hardware for 21 bucks. (Still paid for itself twice over for me!)

(Got mine up over the weekend.)

...Looks like someone else has also had it with the whole lighting rigamoroll. Still more tastefull than some of my neighbors unfortunately!
