If one has done the things I suggested here, there's very little chance, as among the features is a yellow bar that pops up under the top toolbars when a site wants to run Active-X, and won't allow it to run unless it's authorized. The greatest threat is clicking a link in email (no matter who sent it), or opening email from unknown sources. However, anyone that wants to disable the Active-X capability in IE6/7/8, can go here; scroll down to the "Fix-It" buttons.
