Almost all of this would pertain to the same chassis as our GM powered Barths. Not all the specs are the same. The GM chassis, on our Barths, are known as the P-32 Chassis. So, if you see the P-32 or motorhome specs, go with those.

GM Motor homes having disk brakes front and rear that have the larger wheels @ 19.5 inches is a P 32, not P30. The P30 doesn't have disk in rear and they have the 16 inch wheels. This isnthe difference between the chassis from GM. 1993 32' Regency Wide Body, 4 speed Allison Trans, Front Entry door, Diamond Plate aluminum roof & 1981 Euro 22' w Chevy 350 engine and TH 400 tranny

FWIW There has been ? over p30 or p32. In my 1986 manual it list my model # as a P30032 Motor Home chassie. the P30042 as School Bus.Have been told that in later years Work Horse were refered to as a P32. Just want to stir the pot a little. Manual also shows both a Motor Home Chassie and a Foward Control Chassie. The FCC look like a School Bus. Whooa! I had no idea what I was stepping into. I hadn't been down that old thread yet. Thanks for the pointer, Bill. Lots of conflicting stuff..my friend who works the parts counter at a GM dealer (20 yrs) confirms the internal confusion among GM writers and it drives him crazy trying to get the correct parts. He attributes the downfall of GM to this kind of miscommunication, among numerous other reasons. (No wonder Bill h calls it "peethirtysomething") When I copied the manual, I tried to stay with the generic stuff and purposely omitted the alignment stuff etc. since this site has proper info for that. Check your VIN # all the motorhome chassis have VIN # with P37 in them... if it is a chassis only it is a P37. 9708-M0037-37MM-01 "98" Monarch 37 Spartan MM, 6 spd Allison Cummins 8.3 325+ hp

WoW ok I bought a 1987 LaSalle by Champion that was made on the same chassis it. But here is the kicker I was a service tech at a truck lube and i have been sent to 2 places for training on service them & i have known them all along as the P-32 and you can't even use the normal specs on them you need a extra 35-40 hours of classes to learn there differences ! I know your post are old & i got no idea how i got here I have been hunting for the past week for there RV Wiring Diagram or something to help me learn where everything get's hooked up at as got it missing the generator and power cable missing ! I have forgotten almost everything i knew back in 1996 when i had to stop working because a disability ! p.s I only live 20 miles or so from where most rv stuff is made. RobTec
