I did a search here and didnt turn up anything so I thought I'd just ask.... Does anybody here have a "Service Manual" for the Onan 7.5kw DKD Genset?
Possibly in a .pdf format would be fantastic... Thanks in advance...

While I don't have a manual, maybe you can describe what is wrong with it.

Patch, I have a parts manual publication #981-0223 date 1-89 (SPEC A-C) and operator's manual; publication # 981-0121 dated 7-87 for the onan DKD 3 cylinder gen set. Thank you for the offer Sky. I do already have 3 books on it, the installation manual, the owners manual and the parts manual, but I am looking for a "service" manual.... Bill, yes it is a 3 cyl. Kuboto engine and actually there is nothing wrong with it now except I want to replace the fan belt (just cause)... As it is now I cant even see the belt but I'll be looking closer next time I have it open.. I know the saftey cage surrounding it will need to come off and I figgered the "service" manual would outline the steps to remove that cage and replace/inspect the belt..

Patch, I can get that to you. I will see if Bill can post it in the service manuals section too. We will be back home early week if I cannot get it to you before then.

Billy T, "How'd ya'll stop it from lightin afire boy?".... Well it hasnt done that yet but I havent located the problem yet (for sure anyway)... What are the chances you might have a digital copy of the 8.2DD service manual? I have followed the breather tube all the way back to the crankcase and it is NOT blocked anywhere....
Now if only I can remember how to put it all back together...
