Corey, The crossed threaded bolt statement came from Jim at www.rvsrepair.com in Ca. He called my mechanic and advised him of the problem. I don't know how he and Bendix would know that unless there was sometype of special markings or a paint dot used to indicate new or rebuilt. I plan to go over today to check with the mechanic. I'll see about starting the generator to charge up the batteries. I also have a problem with the propane alarm draining the batteries even when the power is shut off. Jim

Good news! Drove over to check on the Barth and inquire about starting the generator to charge up the batteries. To my surprise the owner stated he already charged them. Then the big surprise- the "masters" have arrived. He stated they may start on it by friday and if not it will be Monday. So maybe a priest did sneak over and "exorcized" the "bad mojo" after secrectly reading Cory's post. I'll post again when it's ready to roll and get the new awning.

That IS good news Jim. Don't forget about the new campground at Myakka River State Park for a shakedown. It's really nice, with a lot of pull-through sites and sewer hookups on every site. Maybe we could get Carl and Lenny to come up and have a little GTG in April or May. Give us a holler if you're coming this way. 79 Barth Classic

It's good to hear the demons have been run off from your Barth. It's sat too long for sure. Most people are unaware of the persistent need to exorcize their generator, but if you view Ghost Busters enough, it will suddenly occur to you that their Proton Pack is really just a modified Onan Genny Yup, that is where they hide. It's me again with the last and final on my brake problem. Jan 27, 2012 Friday the shop called and the Barth is ready, except for one thing the chassis battery will not hold a charge. They put a in new battery I brought to them and the ole Barth is now home and stopping real good and running good. The saga has ended and next Tuesday the new awning will be put on. The Barth needs a good wash and inside cleaning from sitting for almost 4 months. To Danny & Carl, yes your idea sounds good about Myakka River State Park. I'll try to get back with you guys after everything is ready to roll again. Jim
