1990 Regal on Oshkosh/John Deer chassie. How do you remove the foward housing. This coach belongs to a friend of mine and does not remove like my Chevy chassie. He locked up his AC that broke the belt that also run the hydro for brakes.

Also looking for any belt routing info on 460 and info on how to delete AC (it is the tension for that belt)

Wow... Not for the reasons you mentioned, but I did the same thing.

My 1991 Oshkosh 460 no longer has a/c as I removed and bypassed it. That sounds like what you want to do.

My "Doghouse" is 2 pieces and the top piece isn't bolted in on my coach. I just pulled it out as it seems to slip into place.

I did all of the work from the top of the engine and used the old belt to wrap around the new routing. I then cut that belt down to size and measured it for the new length.

What is his data tag#? Mine is coach 9102 3709 33S12 and it has MPFI. His coach should be fuel injected too.

Bill N.Y. Data tag 9006-3676-28JB5. Were you able to adjust the pump to adjust belt and do you happen to Know what P/N belt you used? This is a M.P.I. engine.

He managed to remove front housing. Once convinced it would come out and removing glued down carpet and some bent sheet metal it came out. Now he is working on the AC removal and belt replacement.
