Oswego JohnThanks for all the input.
I got the Carquest warehouse to pull the Gates 21442 to check. It was not close. It was something of a mirror image with the main bend going 180 degrees from where mine goes. One end was flared to the 1 3/4" dimension that both ends require. The other end was not going to fit. Neither end of this hoses makes the hard turn that is required 2" out of the radiator to clear the stabilizer bar.
The picture offered by Bill N.Y. looks like the Gates # with only one side flared and no really hard curve right at either end.
I'll try and hit the Carquest warehouse to see if 20482 is one they have offered previously. They are real tired of seeing me there. Yesterday I bought parts for something they could find to help them feel better.
I think my best bet is going to be the two hoses that I have cut sections from and plan on joining them with the tailpipe adapter. I just have to convince one of my co-workers to attempt the weld bead stop or take it to someone who I can pay to do it.
When this works I will advise which two Gates numbers I cut up to make the final replacement.

Oswego JohnShort message tonight. Two part hose is installed and my Barth made a short spin around the parking lot. I shot a few pics of the homemade replacement, the original hose and a close up of my hose joiner before install. I will see what looks good enough to attach later. So far no leaks but the replacement power steering pump is howling at me? I'll be back.
