I replaced shocks on my 1998 barth in Tennessee.
they appeared to be okay I did not notice anything seriously wrong but they had 90,000 miles. They were special order from the Bolstien factory.
After driving 2000 miles I've found the roads to be much smoother. The ride of the motor home is much softer than with the old shocks. Now with the old shocks I would get a thump when I get on even pavement. Now there is virtually no noise.

I was considering lowering the pressure in the air bags to soften the ride. Now that does not appear to be necessary.

The tracking of the motor home is much better. The shocks shipping tax and installation was $1000 for four shocks.

I am very happy with this investment.

Tom
