Can anyone tell me about how many pounds of aluminum can be salvaged from a 1989 28 ft. Regal model or similar Barth?

BTW: You also might get a good dollar for the bumpers as those are highly sought after. We have a "Swap Meet Central" forum if you want to sell anything that might still have value other than scrap.

Bob, are you going to salvage this Barth? Is this the one with the 5.9 Cummins? Why not try to sell it? If it's a FRED, someone with a 28' Regal might want to use the engine.

If I really wanted to know, I would search this site for the specs on the side skin and roof thickness, U channel thickness, and then calculate square feet of skin and total length of U channel. The U channel length can be done by adding up lengths of rivet trails and studying pictures on this forum and the Barth CD.

Hey Bob? Why do you want to scrap it? What's the condition? Is it badly rusted? Where is it located? I am fixing up a 87 that's "ugly rough" I would be interested in seeing yours, could you post some pictures?
