Can anyone tell me about how many pounds of aluminum can be salvaged from a 1989 28 ft. Regal model or similar Barth?

I don't have the answer, but someone else might. I need to ask you for a favor. Do you have a photo of the coach and a picture of the data tag number plate? If you have the original binder and paperwork I would appreciate it being donated to this site. If you do this, please send the tag too. Is this a Public Service or Police Command Unit? BTW: You also might get a good dollar for the bumpers as those are highly sought after. We have a "Swap Meet Central" forum if you want to sell anything that might still have value other than scrap.

Bob, are you going to salvage this Barth? Is this the one with the 5.9 Cummins? Why not try to sell it? If it's a FRED, someone with a 28' Regal might want to use the engine.

If I really wanted to know, I would search this site for the specs on the side skin and roof thickness, U channel thickness, and then calculate square feet of skin and total length of U channel. The U channel length can be done by adding up lengths of rivet trails and studying pictures on this forum and the Barth CD. . 84 30T PeeThirty-Something, 502 powered

Hey Bob? Why do you want to scrap it? What's the condition? Is it badly rusted? Where is it located? I am fixing up a 87 that's "ugly rough" I would be interested in seeing yours, could you post some pictures? Thanks Dave R.
