How do you determine what items will run when you run the generator? Specific issue is how can I run the front roof AC from the generator. Thanks for any help!

Lou, I have a switch (under my bed) that has three positions... 1: Shore 2: off 3: Gen ....
I just turn that switch to 3:Gen and it will run any 110 volt systems in the coach...

Mine is wired like that, too. Some coaches required you to plug the power cord into a receptacle in a compartment, but I don't think Barth did that.

I think this is related to an earlier post.

Is it possible to run the front AC on the generator when traveling, 1991 Barth? We had an AC hose pop off and were unable to find a switch to run the front AC unit?
I'm pretty sure he is trying to run a 30 amp setup with 2 roof a/c units.

2 roof units require a 50amp service. If you have a 30amp service you'll need to upgrade the genny to run both.

Now, if you're trying to run one unit then you'll need to unplug the one setup and plug in the other one in its place.

Jim and Tere would be able to tell you where their plug is to change over from the front to the rear unit as their coach is wired like that too.
