In the electrical bay of my Regency there are a number of copper busses that supply 12 volts DC. I would like to increase the number of available slots but I do not know where to get the same type of bus. What I want are the ones that the circuit breakers are attached to. Does anyone have any ideas as to part number(s) or where they could be purchased? Here is a photo I cut out of a larger one. If it is too vague or blurry I can go out and get a better one. Lance & Sue Walton Previous owner of a 1993 38ft Regency Cummins 6CTA8.3 300HP Allison MD3060 Transmission Spartan Chassis Loveland, CO

These are known as SHORTSTOP circuit breakers. here is a link for the 30amp at NAPA http://www.napaonline.com/Cata...K_7823107_0361083606 They range from 8 - 50amps

trouble is, the shortstop breaker does not provide additional power access nodes as desired by Lance. This will add nine individually protected circuits: http://www.vintagetrailersuppl...se_Box_p/vts-146.htm

Copper is copper... Smash a piece of copper tubing flat to make a copper strap. drill holes... overlap a couple holes and bolt the new strap to the old, leave extra strap hanging out one end for more breakers 9708-M0037-37MM-01 "98" Monarch 37 Spartan MM, 6 spd Allison Cummins 8.3 325+ hp

Great, thanks, I was going to mount the individual breakers to a panel and jumper them together with a drilled out copper strip. This is better and it matches the existing. Now all I have to do is decide how large a strip to get, 4 or 6. Just an FYI: We are all sensitive to bad grounds but I recently discovered another point of failure. The copper bus that you are replacing suffers the same corrosion that grounds do. I tested the voltage at several bus side breaker posts and found it varied from 9.4 to 11 vdc. The red cable lug read 12.56. I rempved the bus and found it heavily oxidized under all the posts with only the tip of a lock washer actually making solid contact. Just apply sandpaper to both sides of the bar, add new lock nuts and retighten everything. Now all voltages are reading the same 12.4 and the coach systems are much happier. Until now I never thought of the bus bar adding to the electrical loads. 1993 32' Regency Wide Body, 4 speed Allison Trans, Front Entry door, Diamond Plate aluminum roof & 1981 Euro 22' w Chevy 350 engine and TH 400 tranny
