Am looking for some experienced guidance on the pro's and con's of Cat 3116 powered Regency's. Have done some limited research. Seems the engines have had some history with injector blowby and broken exhaust valves. Would appreciate input from individuals that have had personal experience with these engines, past or present. Thanks!

I had a 3116 Cat in my 1996 GMC Topkick service truck. It had over 200,000 miles when we sold it to another service company in Wisconsin.

Never had any problems with anything related to the motor. I think it was a fantastic motor. No problems that I ever heard of with any other fleets we worked on.
