My old norcold 838 was broken when I pruchased the old Barth. With parts missing, and the entire unit looking very bad, I have decided to replace it. For the record, I have a L-shaped kitchen that blocks up the kitchen area. With all screws removed, and the doors and hinges removed, I cannot get it to the doorway becasue of the kitchen layout. I removed the door to the sleeping area, but that only netted me 23 1/2 inches. I need 24. Should I remove the wall panel that separated the area for the fridge and exit door, or is there another way? Thanks, Glen 78 Barth Owner

I can't visualize yours, but I removed/installed mine through a window on the opposite wall. (Removed the entire window, frame and all.) "You are what you drive" - Clint Eastwood

For the record - In case anyone wants to know. I have it from a good authority that all Barth's started out on the drawing board with the refrigerator first. As you have suspected, they built the entire coach around the refrigerator.
