I am still having a problem with the left side. We replaced the bags, the left leveling valve, also 2 solinoids but the coach still wants to lean over to the left when parked. Cannot find any leaks. Can anyone confirm the ride height for a 93 gillig chassis 40ft Country coach (3176 chassis)so I wiil know my specs are right ? Could the shop be trying for too high? This all started before replacing the bags when during servicing they corrected airline leaks on the rt side.

Buy the ride level rod replacements at a truck supply house and follow the instructions. Basically you air the coach up to operating level and then adjust the ride height. You have to manually detach the rods and move it up or down until the bubble is perfectly centered on both rear bags. This levels side to side. Then put the wood pin in the valve and adjust the rod length so the arm is perfectly parallel to the frame rail. You might have to do this several times. Once the rear is level side to side and parallel adjust the front the same way with the additional step of making the front level fore and aft. When finished the coach should be level with the bubble in the sensor (usually about amid ships under the floor) centered. Before you change the arm lengths while you have the valves pinned and the coach level (use a 5 foot level on the coach floor inside) you want to be sure the bubble is perfectly centered. If you level the coach but the centering valve is not calibrated it will adjust and unlevel your coach. These are standard instructions that Haldex makes available on their customer service site so you can always call them. 1993 32' Regency Wide Body, 4 speed Allison Trans, Front Entry door, Diamond Plate aluminum roof & 1981 Euro 22' w Chevy 350 engine and TH 400 tranny

Is the ride height correct when you have air? If the answer is yes then you have a leak some where. Next do you have air levelers? If you do you probably have the HWH system. If this is the case, one of the check valves is leaking. This is an ongoing spousel fight on the Newell and has been for years. She yells at me for not being able to hear the leak and when I ask where is it she clams up because it is a blue job to find it. So we still have a leak and after about 5 years I may have figured out where it is. Air leaks are even worse than water leaks as they leave no trail. You can spend lots and lots of hours searching for one and if you are paying someone else to find them you better have DEEP pockets. We have had three coaches with air and none would hold for a long period of time. Good luck is what you need. '92 Barth Breakaway - 30' 5.9 Cummins (6B) 300+ HP 2000 Allison Front entrance
