I have a Pacbrake(exhaust brake) on my motor home and something is missing.when I throw the switch air comes out of the fitting where the air hose goes into the cylinder. Opposite the air hose there is a open 1/4npt with nothing in it.. what goes in that coupling? every thing looks like it works.but air comes out of that opening
thanks lenny

I believe that you're referring to the vent... a little air is supposed to escape for equalization. But only enough to allow the plunger to bottom out. If it is leaking from the vent all of the time, then it sounds like the plunger is bad.
