Sorry I don't have a Barth but have just bought a 93 Country coach with a Gillig chassis. As your forum has more info on this chassis I thought someone could answer my problem.I brought the coach home to BC Canada and took it to Freightliner for servicing. The coach was leaning slightly to the right when parked for 4 days so I had them check it. They found a minor airline leak so fixed it and adjusted the left leveling valve. They found the bags were cracked so I ordered new from Rick (Gillig)and they installed them. Now the left rear is slow to air up and drops after 5 hours. The old bags did this after adjustment so new bags shouldn't be the problem. I have a hwh leveling system also but this shouls not have any bearing. Long winded but any ideas??? costing money in the shop.

Most air systems leak and if you want to repair the leaks expect to spend many hours looking for them. Gets very expensive if you are paying someone else to search. In general I would say a slow leak is the norm and not the exception. And finally, having spent many an hour searching, since you have hydrolic leveling I suspect a problem with the height control valve on the left side. Thanks, I thought thats what it might be. I intend to do my own work but changing airbags on my sloped driveway would be a challenge if not a risk. Will check out all the airlines including the new bags.

In regards to the slow filling airbags you'll need to check out 2 items. 1) Pressure Protection Valve - Closes at 85 PSI The air bag supply valve is also a low psi cutoff valve. This valve supplies air to the valve and allows for a cutoff if the psi should drop below 85lbs. This valve represents the majority of the problems associated with fill speed or even the airbags not working at all. This valve is usually mounted on the tank and then the air goes to the Height Control Valve. 2) Height Control Valve Here is a writeup from earlier this year. Read in its entirety, it gives you some good info from another member who had a problem like yours.

Great, I knew that if I asked the question I would get some excellant solutions to my problem, even if I don't have a Barth Coach(not too common in Canada)but the same chassis. Found someone has played with the adjustable rod by making their own, cut and welding. The leveling valve was also giving up.
