I am resurrecting the video system in our coach and things are going pretty well...good performance from the built-in antenna now connected to an analog-digital converter...very good antenna output to both front and rear TVs. Also installed a DVD player with RCA jacks connected to a Radio Shack RF modulator, and this teed into the front and rear TV coaxial cables...good performance on both TVs. But what isn't working is the cable TV connector. I think I have identified it in the coach, but the F connector is loose. I removed the cable-phone outside connector (left side rear area) and the coaxial cable is completely disconnected. The coax looks pretty old and I think there is enough on both ends for one try at attaching a new connector. But if this does not solve the problem, is it possible to replace the whole cable coax? How would this be done...attach it to the old one and try to pull it through? BTW that cable TV/phone outside connector is really strange...I've never seen a phone connector that looks like this. 1988 Regency 38' Gillig 3208 T Cat

When I did mine, I ran new RG6 quad shield cables to the street side and to the bedroom. I found the existing coax was routed into the roof area and did not want to be used as a messenger cable at all. I ran the coax back from the front compartments through the street side compartments behind the mirrors and to the wall between the kitchen and bath, then inside that to under the stove area and then out to the original outlet. I also at that time added two RG6 runs to a new outlet for connection for my tv satellite system. Vectra Grand Tour 34 New Hampshire
