If the LPG line hasn't been bled, the furnace may not be getting gas yet. Open the outside grille and have someone turn the furnace on; you should hear clicking from the ignitor. After a few "clicks", the control board shuts the ignitor off, but not the fan. Depending on the make, it will try again if ignition has failed. Some control boards will allow the fan to run continuously even if there's no ignition. The Dinosaur boards shut down after 5 minutes, then try again an hour later, and shut down permanently until reset by turning off at the thermostat. We had problems with one of ours this trip. Fan would run, but no heat. With the Switch on at the thermostat, if I unpluged the control unit (outside at the heater) and then replugged--the furnace would run and heat, but would not relight on itself. The solution was a new control board. Hope yours is easier and cheaper-- new contol board at Camping world was in stock but was just shy of 200. I'm home!! Furnace was running. We ran after I bled the lines by opening the stove burners. I ran it 2 hours. There is no fan, no clicking no nothing so I suspect the board or sail switch. I hope not the board. I used to work on a bunch of similar units. We will get it figured out. I will recheck the fuses and the breaker first. The wind was wiping 40 to 50 mph not a good working environment. My list is long but nothing major. I will take some more pictures and get them on site look for the proof of the existence of the Aristocrat. Answered one of my own questions from early on this quest. BB in the data tag number is the Aristocrat floor plan designation. That is listed on the documentation. There is one other listed in the Data tag project. Richard Muise's is also a BB. Congrats on making it home Dana. Who can blame your Barth from bucking a little when you're heading north this time of year? When the flowers are out everything will start working again! I just spent $200 for a coil for my AquaHot diesel furnace. It seems weird working on the furnace when it's 86 out, but it sure beats lying in the snow!!! Real nice coach and good to see there is a place in America where people wear shorts and T shirts and the trees are green. Just went thru another Blizzard up here in Wyoming. Okay I'm home and my Dog Fix (The Fix is in)heard that there were a whole bunch of other dogs getting view time and he was jealous so I told him he could be in the Picture. The 3rd picture is my ICE HOUSE! Just in case anyone wondered what we do in Minnesnowta in the winter. I'll give you more useful information as I get time. Right now it's time to get some sleep! Bill good question. Because I knew how it was supposed to work. "Push button, beep, in gear" After we talked and I walked back to the tow yard. I looked at the coach and said to the wife "It's moved!" I went inside and waited while the guy that was supposed to look at it got off the phone. I asked what he had done and he said "I pushed the button and a buzzer was going off but I just held it down for a couple minutes and it went to drive." So how would I know just holding it down longer when every time before that push, beep, engage? I felt pretty silly but when an alarm goes off for a long time I quit doing what is making it go off. Okay there are alarms for low air but that is the way they are supposed to work. When it got down to 40 degrees the next night and I tried it in the AM no Forward, just reverse. Also no alarm or beep or anything. My wife said hold it down and I did and about 45 seconds it goes to gear. When ever it gets cold it want to sleep in?? Thanks for trying to help me getting going. Everyone has been great helping me get the bugs worked out. I'll have more questions as I check on more of the page and a half of things that are not working correctly. Richard Muise and I talked about the generator and filter issues. I started the generator just now and it ran fine for 30 seconds and then shut itself down. Sounds like the issue he and others have had. I'm going to plug in shore power and see what happens. The ProSine system was acting up also. One thing at a time now that I am home I have time to concentrate to figure it out. We put pressure on ourselves when we have to be somewhere!! Thanks for everyone's help!! Dana, You definitely want to make a call to an Allison service center. The 3060 is electronically controlled and can be reset by the Allison shop. You may want to do this just so the tranny learns your driving style as these are adaptive to the way its driven. If I recall, there is also a way to get the error codes displayed on the console. I don't recall how, but it involved holding down several buttons. I have also read about a manual reset somewhere on the tranny itself. Make the call, you will be glad you did. Funny, my MD3060 does somewhat the same thing. When it is cold outside, it does not want to go into gear very easily. I hold the button down for about 5-10 seconds until it does. And it goes into reverse much easier than forward. I will also say that once the coach gets up to some temperature, or if it is warm outside, all that button holding goes away and it will go into either forward or reverse easily. There is a buzzer that goes on, along with the dash "low air" lights, when starting the coach but everything goes off once about 70lbs. of air pressure is reached in the tanks. I did not have a buzzer with Barth I and the AT542 trans, just the lights on the dash. I do notice that the trans selector will not go into gear until proper air pressure is reached, no matter if I hold the button down or not. I figured it was a safety feature and just had to wait for the buzzer to go off before attempting to shift the trans. I also read that if you use the coach battery kill switch, it also disconnects the trans controller and will reset it's memory. But supposedly once turning that back on and after driving for some miles it will "re-learn" your driving habits and set itself to those parameters. Anybody know if this is true? 9303 3855 33BS 1B Bruce & Kathleen 1993 33' Front Entrance Breakaway 230HP Cummins 5.9, Allison 6 speed, Spartan Chassis, Nicely Optioned

The electronic allisons need battery voltage to remember things. Unhook the battery and it has to be retaught when hooked back up. There are two 12vdc leads going to the TCM (transmission control module). One is switched and is the power for the TCM and the second is hooked to the battery permantly and is the power for the TCM memory. Yes, it's an adaptive transmission. It will adjust itself to your driving style. Some of the newer cars even have adaptive engines. My 2006 Corvette (sold) and my M3 will adjust to driving style and performance ad ons. I put a Corsa exhaust and a Donaldson intake on the Vette, it ran like crap for a few hours and then started to come into it. After a few days it tuned itself to perfection. This is when technology really works! Gary, Does this mean that using the kill switch does or does not shut the power off to the TCM. It seems your post says it does not. Do you actually have to take both battery terminals off to reset the memory? And is it the coach batteries that power the TCM or the chassis batteries? 9303 3855 33BS 1B Bruce & Kathleen 1993 33' Front Entrance Breakaway 230HP Cummins 5.9, Allison 6 speed, Spartan Chassis, Nicely Optioned

It shouldn't reset with the ignition switch. If it did, it would need to relearn each time you restarted the engine. It almost certainly is connected to the chassis batteries. Some ECUs have built in backup batteries and need to be reset electronically. Again, Allison is willing and able to answer these questions definitively. You should also ask about recalls and recommended upgrades. I read (somewhere) that when you disconnect the battery or turn off the the main switch (back in the battery compartment)--- then there is a loss of power to the control system and the memory is lost. I have done this each time we put the coach into storage in order to minimize the draw on the battery. 1993 Breakaway 36ft & 1977 20 ft Spartan: air ride and brakes & P32(?)
